The Jailbirds are a three piece band from Mississauga Ontario offering high energy, head banging rock and roll. The power house trio has recently walked away with best rock and roll band of 2018 from the Mississauga music awards. With one killer single, the band is set to release their first debut EP at the end of November. The Jailbirds borrow their heavy sound from bands such as Monster Truck, Rival Sons and Royal Blood.
In Jailbirds' core sound, there is influence of rock, blues, metal and guitar-driven music. Best described as a modern-rock sound with heavy influence of all types of rock music like grunge, 70s stadium rock, stoner rock, hard rock and so on. The band prides itself on not sticking to one particular sound, some songs are a completely different vibe than the next. While capturing some of the charm and magic that inspired the guys to start the band in the first place, Jailbirds manages to have their own character and originality, you can always expect an energetic and exciting show from Jailbirds!
