Tony Vani is a soulful and versatile singer/songwriter; a talented harmonica player having performed and recorded across nearly every style of music; touching souls with his passion for his music and smoky style and magnetic stage presence. He plays with authority and often leaves his audience calling for one more song.

Tony, on his own, performs as a compelling single act. He is also a leading member of two other dynamic groups,”The Tony Vani Band”, and The Stir.” As a single and group act, he combines both his own original material mixed with some popular cover tunes by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Cat Stevens, U2 and other hit makers.  His band, “The Stir,” is blues based and has played in the local area for the past 20 years.  Tony has  opened for Dr. Hook, Wild T and The Spirit and other big name acts.

Tony’s most recent endeavour is the creation of an exciting new CD of originals with six bluesy classic rock tracks completed that have already received airplay on internet radio stations, Itunes, and other online music services. You’ll also find these 6 great tracks on YouTube, “Live Hard and Play Hard,” “Praying Mantis,” “Put On The Dog,” “Black Sheep,” “Her Blues,” and, “Where is your life going.”

Tony’s 2008 CD, the award winning “Soul Retrieval,” was created with his soul partner Debbie Hoskin. Soul Retrieval is an eclectic and inspiring album that spans various genres including adult contemporary and adult rock; still receives airplay on many online music services.   For music clips go to
