Biography

The Wilderness is an international band made of members from Canada, France, the UK and the US. Based out of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, The Wilderness formed in January 2015 and have since recorded an EP, LP, toured the US and Canada and played over 400 shows across the continent. The Wilderness released their debut album “Saxton’s River” in late May 2017 in Los Angeles while on their longest tour to date.

Napanee's Avril Lavigne got her start performing by singing country songs at local fairs. In 1999 she got to perform the song "What Made You Say That"with Shania Twain at the Corel Centre in Ottawa to about 20,000 people.
