Amateur musician plays an eclectic mix of covers and original music. Played in cover band 40 years ago. Have done a little busking over the years in Kingston. I was a regular a open mic at Tir Nan Og a few years ago. Would like to get together to jam with others, participate in music events such as a volunteer and/or a performer to share my love for music with others. Favourite artists are Lightfoot, America, John Denver, Neil Young, The Who. My favourite local musicians are Jenica Rayne, Trevor Walsh, The Hip, and The Rain Kings. More recently I am interested in blues jams. Music is therapy for me, so I am looking for opportunities to build my confidence playing and singing again. If you want someone to come out and play a few tunes for a group of people or an event, open for an event or performance, or to jam send me an email at email@example.com, or firstname.lastname@example.org
I have yet to set up a web site. Check back here for updates.
Update: Dec. 2018. Just started back gradually, playing a few tunes at Open Mic nights at the Rose and Crown. Plan to continue to participate when I can in the new year. Thanks to to Tom Savage, the staff at the Rose & Crown, and fellow patrons for your patience as I re-introduce myself to the Open Mic(s) playing live music again in Kingston. Looking forward to sharing some unique versions of cover music, and my original compositions in 2019. I wish you all a safe and prosperous New Year!
